Good morning all!! On September 30th, I was laid off by my employer after 10 years of employment. However, I never doubted that it was all part of God's plan for my life. He closed one door and on Nov 6th, he opened another door. And the door that he opened is my dream job and I am so excited. I will start orientation on Monday, November 13th!! I am here to encourage those of you still searching for employment, please don't give up. I searched for jobs on a daily basis. I found out that I was going to be laid off August 14 and began my job search at that moment. I interviewed with 3 different organizations. However, my interview with the 2nd organization is the one that forever changed my life, because I didn't get the position I initially interviewed for. However, because they were impressed with my interview I was referred to apply another position that hadn't been posted yet, if I was interested and I applied for it. Several weeks went by and I never heard anything more about the position. Finally, on Oct. 23, I got the call to come in and interview on Tuesday Oct. 31, Friday, November 3 went in for a drug test and background check and Monday, Nov. 6 I was offered the position. I am so excited!!! God is so good!! Don't give up but be diligent in your search and that right door will be opened!!
