My advice to people interested in working at #HairCuttery as a #Manager/masterstylist ...
Hair Cuttery use to be about family. They cared about their employees and what they wanted out of working there. I moved up into management and eventually became a manager and master stylist. One of the main reasons I left the company was the pay for managers was ridiculous. So much work and barley made more than everyone else. They also don’t listen to advice people give, such as clients being able to make appointments with stylists who are not master stylists and ideas you have for your salon. I also left because of my district leaders boss, Beth W. She was a very cold hearted and mean. I did not like any time I had to meet with her or how she treated people. The company definitely changed and they stopped caring about their employees and only themselves. I haven’t worked there in 5 years but I do know people that do and the way they have changed things is definitely not to help employees out. It is a good place to start and build clientele but then leave after a couple years! Once you build your clients it’s a good idea to take them with you and go!
