How do you show that you have applied for a job online when you are filling out unemployment certification each week? I live in Tn. and lost my job due to Corona in March! Proof on job search started Oct 1
#coronavirus unemployment benefits

Margaret: Bless you! That at least gives me hope 🙂

COVID-19: Claimants who are out of work due to one of the COVID-19 reasons listed in the CARES Act may be exempt from performing job searches if they self-certify that they are unable to look for work due to one of the designations and are otherwise able and available. https://www.tn.gov/workforce/general-resources/news/2020/9/14/work-search-requirement-resumes-for-unemployment-claimants.html If you are unable to work during Covid 19 due to immune compromised illness, heart disease, cancer, lung issues etc. you may file a form signed by your doctor releasing you from job searching. However on your computer form, there is a question asking if you have available to work, answer is Yes, Call Tn Employment commission to validate where you are to record looking for work. Hope this helps

TN. Is much more specific. You have to list where you applied, who took your application, when is your interview, phone numbers, email address . What a pain😷

Just check box that you looked for work and that’s it ... well in Cali anyway ...it doesn’t make you list jobs for online....only if you do the paper you’ll have to show proof

Leon T gave you sage advice. I agree with him. Best wishes

Should have the option of "in person" or "online" while filling out the site

Keep a log and post the URL of the "confirmed applied" or post an Email screenshot.

This doesn’t make much sense, you say “I have proof from October” and said you left in March.... so what you’re saying is “I lost my job in March and didn’t apply for a job until October”. .. ? Or are you trying to say like... you can’t FIND the previous job applications from March to October ? Regardless, if you use a job search such as Glassdoor for example, well, your applications save right to your account. They all do that actually lol. Unless you only apply through the companies website directly, in that case, you just have to keep track of it.. and it shouldn’t be too difficult lol. Sorry if that was a lot just trying to understand it better so I can help

You should be able to login to unemployment in your state, then you can take screen shots of what you applied for online & upload it to the unemployment website.
Same here I've had some problems too.
