Terminated by Wal-Mart

I worked for Walmart off and on for 25 years this last time was for 17 years. They told me I was terminated because I made to many mistakes, first they told me I was to slow and couldn't keep up, I pointed out to them before they promoted me to management, I was going to be slow because I was handicapped (I only have one hand) but I kept my head down and did my work the man you promoted me said I was exactly what he was looking for. Thru the years he left the company and a new GTM came in. After pointing this out They changed their tune to I was making to many mistake but still they kept me dispatching 3 D'C'S (distribution centers) when a lot of people where dispatching 1 or 2 DC's there were a lot of times 2 people were dispatching 1 DC. At first they started accusing me of things I didn't do. I was on vacation and they said they tried calling me in for coverage, I was out of town and I told them I would be out of town I had family coming up to visit me and I would be out of town also I wasn't next in line to do coverage two other people were ahead of me on of the person that was ahead of me said they never called him to come in. Also I have document to back a lot of this up, and also I have tape recording of them falsely accusing me of thing I didn't do. I used their open door and when they terminated me I asked the HR manager what every became of the open door issues no one every got back with me, she told me they couldn't find any reason to allow it so they threw it out without even telling me. I went to a lawyer and he said they couldn't use the tapes in court because it was done with out their permission also he wanted $460.00 an hour which I couldn't afford. So I gave up taking it any further. This all happen in May of 2014 I suppose it's to late to do something about it now. I was 7 months away from turning 66 I thing that might have been one of the real reason they terminated me. Since then I have applied over 200 places to get a job and been refused. I sure they were behind that to. #Walmart is all about politics.

You can't draw your full Social Security Benefits until age 66 and You made It ! Of course they terminated you when you were 65-1/2 because they did not want to pay retirement benefits. A lot of jobs start subtly mentally "brow-beating and harassing" you, when you get close to 10, 15, 20 years on the job - and then finally when you get close to age 65 by 65-1/2 you are out the door and you didn't even see it coming !!

I was employee for Walmart and they terminate me for not wearing my mask correctly on my face it was below my nose and I got terminated because of that and they wrote me up for like a month ago and they pulled me in the office they told me what they write me up for and I didn't know they had color codes at Walmart at this time and they put me all the way through red it's the next time they see me on my face mask not on correct me I'm terminated and what happened like a month later they terminate me saying my mask went on correctly what piss me off you could have worn me at first before he shot me all the way up to the re and I took a basket cart away from me I could not use that no more I needed to walk with do you think I should say a lawyer cuz harassment and disabled

I was fired for paying out to much in lottery winnings, even though I thoroughly checked the screen twice and the amount I typed in was correct as I have a picture of the register slip. Either the ticket went missing or was deliberately taken to accuse me or the lottery screen display was a glitch. The Texas lottery wont give me data. I am applying for SSDI. We need to seize the labor markets and have a Gov't agency do the hiring .Firing shall be done by the Gov't agency but only thru due process of law. This means a court of law .The workers should rule there own sections and those managers should be gone thus firings would be infrequent. This is done at a washing machine factory in Brazil it is profitable and the workers are happy. It is called the pod system if your a bad worker you get voted out of the pod. This would however need a judges approval to insure due process. Good luck to you

Wow. I did work for Walmart for about 2 months . They had can’t take off policy. It was redicilous. Most places you can trade with another employee for days off. Managers were not nice at all , I learned a few things there , but I moved to another state in Retail work. You either like it or you don’t like it , you have to choose.

I'm Physically Disabled but a College Graduate who was Hired at Walmart Store No. 1158 as a Fitting Room Associate but Primarily The Store Telephone Operator. I Endured Daily ACTS OF DISCRIMINATION : Jokes and Inappropriate Comments made about My Physical Disability/Paraplegic, The Fact That I Shake a Little and I'm Soft Spoken Quite Personality Type. I Was Forced To Prepare Merchandise For Display, Housekeeping and Exposure To COVID-19 When Associates Working Near Me Wouldn't Wear Mask. The Store Manager Ignored Me And I Used The WALMART OPEN DOOR POLICY And Contacted Doug McMillion, Chief Executive Officer Of Walmart But My Hours Where Greatly Decreased Eventually I Was Terminated On The Basis Of Being A Temporary Employee While The Store Was Hiring Employee MONTHLY. I Endured A Hostile Working Environment Because Of WALMART OPEN DOOR POLICY !!!

You should have went toSocial Security for Disable worker .I would have put up some hell.I am disable person but I will not rest until somebody help me get it right.God bless you son .I don’t work now but God knows how much we can. bare.
