My worst day ever

An hour ago I was just leaving school with a big smile on my face getting ready for open house later on and I received an email from Burlington....my first job ever applying to by the way I’m 18 but anyways after 3 days waiting I receive an email saying “dear (blank) We appreciate you taking the time to apply with Burlington Stores. After reviewing your application, we have decided to pursue other candidates for this position.

Your application and resume will be retained for a reasonable period of time and you will be contacted in the event our employment needs should change. We also encourage you to visit www.burlingtonstores.jobs as new positions become available.

Thank you for your interest in working with Burlington Stores. We wish you every success in achieving your career goals.

Sincerely,

I agree with Ashley Wilson - stay encouraged.

Do you have a resume? Don't be intimidated by your lack of work experience. You can make one by focusing on activities you did/do in school. Were you a part of organizations? Teams? Did you demonstrate traits like teamwork, dependability, and problem-solving in this organizations?

You got this.

Nick

P.S. See you in Erangel.

Hi Nbafresh679 Pubg specialist don't be discouraged that is a typical letter that companies send. They likely moved forward with another candidate and although this hurts please try not to take it personally. Just know that you did nothing wrong and gave it your all. Keep applying to other retail stores that excite you as much as this one did. Don't let one "no" ruin your day. You are amazing!!!
