Looking for part time job that allows me to sit down some.
Good evening everyone. Yes I was employed at Walmart for almost fifteen years. Walmart had let my job go back in April 2018, the reason why I couldn't continue working for Walmart is due to having two surgeries. The first surgery was on my left ankle back in February 2015, than the second surgery was on my right ankle in June 2017, yes I am able to work now, however it would have to be part time due to being on disability, and having restrictions on pushing, pulling, climbing, not allowed to lift over 15lbs, and they don't want me on my feet for long periods. I truly love working, learning new opportunities, I am positive, compassionate, focus, confident, determined, and much more. I have had job coaches working with me when I was at Walmart. I am currently working with people from the Department of Rehabilitation Services and Aging to help me also find a job that would be part time to supplement with my disability. So if anyone has any ideas, or suggested thoughts of a part time job that would be fitted for me, I would appreciate the help. Please note I don't have a driver's license, and I am a high school graduate. My main means of getting around the Williamsburg area is the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority Paratransit Bus.
