Here is a little more information if you want it too. I don't know how many people have ever called in sick and your boss told you to bring a Dr note when you came back. Well guess what, they can't do that. They cannot make you bring a Dr note because they do not pay for your insurance. They cannot legally make you bring a Dr note and they technically can't fire you for not bringing one but keep in mind it depends on what kind of company your working for. Independently owned businesses or franchise companies have different sets of rules than the corporate owned stores do so be careful and know which side your working for before you decide to exercise your rights.
