Extra $600 qualification ?
Does everyone get an additional $600 in addition to their unemployment or is there some kind of criteria that has to be met? #unemployment #wrongfultermination

Yes

no its federal money just like unemployment people are getting. You apply thru unemployment 1st

Last week I received an email for the previous claim weeks. It said my claim is payable at this time. However, I still have not received any direct deposit ( I did provide my info for direct deposit). Today, 4/26/20 I went online to certify for my weekly benefits at the scheduled time. I checked the box stating that I agree (the part that shows you how to answer) then put my social and birthdate in. Instead of the next step allowing me to certify, there was a list of questions regarding PUA. This does not apply to me. I did not lose my job due to COVID-19. So, I didn’t check any off. I did check off the agreement box but it said I have to select at least 1 answer. It would not allow me to just go to the weekly certification screen. Has anyone else had this issue? I was unable to certify.

I am a independent contractor and I applied for unemployment and I get the additional 600 on top of my unemployment

I was told even if you don't qualify for state benefits, you are still eligible for the PUA benefits. If your job was directly affected by the Covid 19 PANDEMIC. Some states are not going by what the Federal government has told states. Which is to ease the requirements and rules under these extreme conditions. Tennessee is one that's not easing or relaxing the rules.

Then I received this email:

Notice

Wednesday I went on the unemployment site to certify for this week and previous weeks. I was given a confirmation number for each. However, on each one it says “ your claim is not payable at this time”.

What if you're self employed or independent contractor?
I just got it by submitting my 1099 and answering questions about date of layoff
