When applying to remote/work from home positions, can you apply in various states? I mean that’s the purpose of being remote right?

All you need to do is apply where you are living if it shows your state. That is all you need to do. I've been working from home for 10 years now. Pay is a little less, but no driving, dressing up, and paying for lunch. It balances out.

Sometimes they will highlight in the job description which states they will/wont hire in! Ive seen it in bold on some listings

A combination would be fine.

Depends on the job and the company, but in many cases, you don’t have to be in the same state. Also, work from home is not a myth, as someone said above, but be cautious. NEVER pay a company for the privilege of being hired. Research the company, find out who they are and how long they’ve been in business.

Working from home can be a plus but sometimes she needs to be in the actual office just in case do you need something other then what’s is you home office

I find online jobs don’t answer back. Also I work in web content management. Most interviews don’t have real expectations for the job. They want you to do, seo marketing, web development. Coordinate with Ad agencies and monitor IT, plus know tons of apps. Less than half of these skills will they need or be able to manage a person with this experience. This is.a 6 figure job there are proposing 15 an hour.

I work from home. Not a myth

Most are universal companies. One needs to apply diligence when sourcing. Many don't pay very much and it could be very demanding.

Stand tall
work from home is a myth.
