One teacher I will NEVER forget @ #DaymarCareerCollege is definitely
I just started attending college 6 weeks ago, Monday. I did not know or maybe to be honest think that I could or should start college. at the age of 61+ and also after having a serious accident 18 years ago, which left me with memory loss, and shakey hands. But, I just took one day and thought, I want to do something just for me.
I am now taking Eng 101, and SFS 140 (Stragies for Sucess)
Daymar is a very caring career college, and they will go out of their way.
My English instructor is what I call a woohoo man, when he gets excited and he does very often, he says "woohoo".
My SFS instructor is well to put it politelly, way out there.
My major is Medical Billing & Coding, which will start next quarter..
When I get to school, my whole dismeaner changes, I try to put all my worries from home back at home. I love being in school again. I did not do good in high school; in the 1970's and did not graduate.,
I went back to school in 1991, and in 1992, I graduated with a GED. I loved it so much, that I decided to stay in school. I got a certificate in Small Business Management,, Medical Terminology, and Medical Assisting.
Listen, your never too old to do something special for yourself, especially education.
GOD BLESS-vgc
Your story is very inspiring. It shows that getting an education is never too late and that you can achieve everything with a strong desire. Yes, I did not study well in college and paid little attention to assignments, as I had a job. At that time, I thought that stuff I study at college would not be very useful to me in real life, although it was my biggest mistake. A major part of my assignments I did with the help of college writing service Paperial and probably because of this, I was able to graduate from college. I received a marketing degree and thought that I needed only real practice, and theory is not particularly important. But just plunging into the real work, I realized that some blocks on the theory that I missed were necessary. But still, the main thing in getting an education and use your diploma for your carrier, and not just to attend college. It is a pity that I had different thoughts back in the day and know I have a different view on education. Your post reminded me of my old idea of going back to college again, and now I’m thinking about it.
