Has anyone else unemployment account has them locked out?
Has anyone had trouble with filing their claims last week and today. I have been trying to claim my weeks and on the first try it said that all my allotted tries have been used. Which I know my password and it said it on the first try. I can't get through on the phone and it keeps hanging up due to high call volumes. I haven't been able to reach anyone since last week. Now I have unnecessary late charges. #unemployment #advice
How disrespectful you are Colin Mcmanus. Why would you even make a comment like that to someone you don't know? You don't know that she has not been trying to find a job. And, while she may be applying for jobs she still has to claim her weeks for being unemployed. After all, the little amount of money that people collect on unemployment is better than not bringing in any income. Additionally, just knowing that somebody is collecting unemployment benefits tells you right there that a person has worked in the past or they would not be eligible to collect any unemployment benefits. Nobody asked to lose their jobs when this pandemic closed down our entire country. If you think being on unemployment is all bells and whistles you are very much mistaken. People who lost jobs because of Covid-19 had to take a huge cut in pay. I know I was one of them. We did not ask to be laid off; therefore, we should have been able to receive 100% of our income! Just the headaches and the stress I was under every time I had to claim my weeks was enough to drive me insane. It was not easy dealing with a broken system day after day, week after week. From what I heard this same system in Florida still has not been fixed. Let me tell you working is so much better than having to deal with all that stuff. No more headaches and no more stress. So you should think twice before making such a rude comment to a woman you don't even know#

Hi Shenita Works, I also had problems with filling my claim on Last Sunday July 25th 2021. It was saying I needed to update my identity so I could get a new Bank Of America Card. Well I couldn't understand that, Because back in March I decided to use my Debit Card to receive my Benefits. And remember Shenita Unemployment said that they were know longer using Bank Of America For us to receive our Benefits. So anyway I uploaded my Social Security Card and my Photo ID.. SO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, I WASN'T ABLE TO FILE MY CLAIM UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. WHICH WAS MONDAY JULY 26TH AND RECEIVE MY BENEFITS ON THE REGULAR PAY DAY TUESDAY JULY 27TH 2021.. AND YES IT IS VERY HARD TRYING TO CONTACT SOMEONE FROM UNEMPLOYMENT... I DID EMAIL AS WELL WHY I WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON... SO HAVE YOU TRIED EMAILING THEM SHENITA? I PRAY 🙏 🙌 EVERYTHING WORKS OUT IN YOUR FAVOR!

There are so many jobs available right now everywhere. Why rely just on unemployment? Hospitals everywhere are looking for help in departments. I know, i work in one. Maybe this is a sign you need to start looking for a job, and get back to work.
