What jobs are available for someone with a above the knee amputation, in a wheelchair and on disability?
Not looking to go beyond allowable salary restrictions imposed by SSI Disability. Just looking to occupy some time. #disability #advice #hiringnews #workfromhome

Your disability does not limit your potential - especially in digital, administrative, creative, and flexible remote work fields. With the right skills and opportunities, you can find well-paid, accessible, and rewarding work that fits your life and pace. 💪✨

I worked part-time as a package Handler, at a company while I was on SSI Disability a few years ago, and everything was fine until my Ops Manager convinced me to go full-time, and I was making so much money that Social Security cut my check off, but I was still technically disabled and received Medicaid, and in retrospect I shouldn't have, but I asked Social Security to take me off, and as soon as I did I felt like I was muscled out of my job. Now I have medical bills out of the Wazoo, and it seems like nobody wants to hire me but I work hard. Do you think I should omit my Disability on future applications cause I don't know what to do anymore?

Might want to check out Sivium. It applies you to job opportunities automatically across different platforms and can be helpful for people with disabilities that are looking for work

Endless possibilities I have worked on a sales floor with a Girl whose similarities were close to the same disabilities. In sales you have the ability to make your own hours, Verizon Wireless, Target, , Walmart,,Team Mobile. There are many different types of sales from Home that’s work at your own pace such as Health and Life Insurance, selling car insurance, or buying items online at auction sites such as Nellis auction and selling the inventory you won for a very nice profit, i’m new to social media and new to this way of getting jobs. Online you can start a TikTok page as a creator or an advertiser and get paid by hotels from the commission from a video you make so you could be out outside, enjoying the afternoon making videos and you can also set up different accounts through TikTok one for items you buy online and resell if you open a TikTok page and just research it and do the due diligence. There’s endless opportunities just on that site alone and they connect all the other social media outlets together now disguise the limit for you and every one of us all we have to do is go out and get it and stay positive and don’t let our feelings get in the way when someone says no to us just keep plugging away until you find something you like staying positive is key getting a job is a full-time job. Just find something you love to do.

I think it’s great that they work with handicapped people.

I'm not sure what area you're in, but here in Austin, TX, there are so many places that are 100% willing and go out of their way to recruit, interview, and hire qualified, handicapped individuals. HEB, Whole Foods & Amazon are only a few examples. When I lived where they were Publix supermarkets , that was the only grocery store i would shop at because of their commitment to finding, welcoming, hiring and training handcapped individuals. There are a lot of places out there, especially this day. And age, just keep your head up and maybe call the chamber of commerce, locally, and they could help you. Good Luck to you.
