What kind of training does UPS offer their employees?

It really depends on the role you’re applying for. I started out as a package handler back in 2006 while I was in college and stayed in that position for about two years. After graduating in 2008, I was promoted to a part-time supervisor and held that role for 10 years. Progress like this often takes patience, much like learning to use a Morse Code Translator https://morsecode.live/ where consistency and practice make all the difference.

None really

It depends on the position that you are applying for. I started as a package handler in 2006 when I was in College. I was in that position for 2 years. Was promoted once I graduated in 2008, to a part time Supervisor and was in that position for 10 years. Got promoted fulltime in 2018 and was in that position for 7 years and I retired last year after 19 yrs of Service. Fast paced environment. My advice, if you have your eyes set on being in mgmt, show up every day and do the job. Forget the naysayers because there will always be those types of ppl at any job. It can be hard at times because of various things but remember you are there to work and advance yourself. God speed to you and much success if you choose to work for UPS.

I'm confused about the second UPS that I worked at because my intake and thought process was that you come to work and learn but where I was it seems like a sense of false control....I couldn't speak about safety but I was on the safety committee and I have my OSHA certificate...So I was labeled n a sense because I was speaking up for UPS but management considered a problem....I thought I could speak about things that would UPS.....I noticed different logistics studying me and what I said and it worked...I wasn't n management so they used my logic then said I was a problem...First 3 years I might've gotten wrote up 1 time...But when I got n the safety committee and started addressing issues that I was seeing they said I was a bad guy.....But the formula I used worked for the whole building...So I'm confused about what there asking from me I've never messed a day...But the last year and a half I've but put in situations where part-time Sup attacking me and they didn't get discipline after they seen he attacked me.....I worked 6 days a week n the warehouse and 6 days driver helper...So I'm confused on why they were attacking me and UPS allowed it because I'm out of a job right now....I was just speaking up as a safety committee...

Depending on position. Most begin as package car loaders.

Jaycee is right on the money. Mostly depends on your assignment job and your desired position. How you build your bridge from a to b will determine how long it may take to get there. Just my advice, stick it out!
