As a former manager for Boot Barn I would suggest you wear your cowgirl boots, a nice pair of jeans with a nice country looking top. The most important thing at the interview is to remain calm. Get ready to talk about yourself, not your personal life, just talk about your work life experience. Smile a lot, make eye contact and dont forget to have some questions for them as well. Good luck!

When I had my interview, I went straight from my other job so i was already business casual. I was very big on my retail experience and lastly from what I was told was the fact that I was funny which was why I was hired. You have to be yourself if you are wanting to work in retail because if you are not a people person it will show.

I had to move back to California from Alaska j had a job my own apartment, but my ex filed custody and is doing nothing but making my life a living hell. And I can’t find a job anywhere I have applied everywhere

@Lacie Chance I would research the company and familiarize yourself with their core values . That way you can answer questions that are relevant to the company . Be confident , make eye contact and ask questions !

Hey @Lacie Chance! Since this is a retail establishment, you definitely want to dress the part. Dress similar to how Boot Barn’s employees dress for work. This is a great way for the potential Hiring Manager to see that you’d easily fit in to the role! As far as what to bring, you definitely want to bring your resume!
