In California, the minimum wage is currently $13.00 per/hour and on 01/01/21 it will increase to $14.00 per/hour. In Los Angeles County, minimum wage is currently $14.25 per/hour. It is illegal for California employers to pay less than minimum wage.

$10 Hr. That is crazy are you hiring kids or adults. An adult working for $10 hr with rent and children in college and food being so high. The adult should be on UI. I'm just saying at least offer $18.00 an hour. You are also say that at $10.00 hour you offer benefits now we are bring the pay down to $8 to $7 an hour after benefit are paid and if they have children really. Let's be real about this and $10.00 hours who does that..

Yea, 10 bucks an hour is pretty small for dealing with a bunch of angry unemployment recipients. LOL

$10 an hour is really low because there are certain fast food and store's hiring at 15 an hour!!!!!

I will not work for less than $20 an hour mynlast job I was making well over $35 an hour

$10 per hour is not good enough in this day and age

10 dollars an hour yeah right

10.00 per hour? I didn't know that was legal?

start at less than minimum wage :-(
How am I supposed to get a hold of unemployment NJ. I’ve written them letter I’ve sent them online messges and I’ve got no response back. I just started a few weeks ago. And my claim is Covid related but it doesn’t state that I’m my claim. I was laid off due to Covid but my claim only says I was laid off. I didn’t get the $1800. It says to check off the boxes in the “check your claim status” but when I check my claim status there’s no where I can check any boxes off. I keep hoping there going to send me an email or something but I’ve got nothing. I give them all my info when I write to them.
