Tip No.4: Stay Active + Healthy

Confession time. I’m an emotional eater. When I’m stressed, sad, anxious, or worried, I tend to find myself elbow-deep in a bag of salt + vinegar chips or diving face-first into my favorite Ben and Jerry’s pint. Though having little splurges here and there is nothing to feel guilty about, your body will thank you if you continue sticking to a healthy lifestyle.

There has been a lot of research proving that physical exercise provides countless mental health benefits, including alleviating anxiety, minimizing stress, and increasing brain function.

Better mood = more effective job search!

Make sure to exercise regularly and keep fueling your body with the nutrients it needs to function! Take your downtime to learn new healthy recipes and educating yourself on healthy eating habits.

I hope these four self-care tips were a good starting point to remembering self-care while job searching!
