When it snowed. I was experienced at drivinging in snow and ice and had no major problems getting to work on time. Quite a large amount of employees didn't make it in or were vastly late. Throughout the day things were constantly changing and then to find out I couldn't go home was a blow. They feared nobody would return to work and needed all who were there to be able to count on for the next day. I worked for 18 hours went to bed and returned to work in the morning. By the end of that day the city had come to grips with the weather and I only had to work for 14 hours. Night shift started as early as possible. I was able to return home to my family.
