What is one thing you wish you knew before your first day working at #UnitedStatesArmy?

One thing I wish I knew before joining the US Army is how important it is to prepare physically and mentally before signing up. At 19 I was still learning how to be a man let alone a soldier. So that was something I had to deal with

I was supply with Bandido Charlie and was really good at my job so I was always taken care of really good. Never had any problems with wishing I knew first. The only thing I can think of is that I deployed to Afghanistan when I was 18-19 and came back with ptsd, and ptsd isn't ever really any fun.

That it is more than a job but a lifestyle that includes your entire family. It forces you to understand the need to time manage and enjoy as much family time as possible when it is available.

Nothing
One thing I wish I knew before going in was how physically and mentally challenging that going through the process of becoming a soldier was going to be. It was an awesome experience however.
