Terminated for the first time
I started my 3rd job at Dollar Tree earlier this month & I wanted to be a stocker, but I was on register most of the time. So my first three days were good, like, when my shift was over, me & a closing manager would count my draw using this machine that counts it for you. I had my first write-up last Tuesday because my draw was like $12. 00 short. Had 2 more, last night and tonight. The closing manager told me it seems like Idk how to handle money. So when my mom picked me up, I told her what happened and she wasn't even mad. While we was driving home, I cried about it and she patted my knee and said I'll be alright, God got something better for me, you know just trying to make me feel better. I'm okay now after crying about what happened tonight because I never been terminated from a job before. I don't usually do fired, but Lord knows I tried my best not to let that happen. So I see that a cashier job is not meant for me. I may be jobless now, but I refuse to give up. Right now, I'm looking for a job where I don't have to cook food or do register (Wendy's was my 1st job at age 19) Just a job that's more calmer and less stressful. I'm interested in either being a receptionist, library assistant, or model lol. But I haven't had job experience in these. I heard being a receptionist is just answering the phone and I figured that shouldn't be hard so I might try that. I just want to be a happy working woman again #Termination #Unfair #NeedABetterJob
I'm so sorry to hear about that, Briana! Your mom is right, you will find something that better suites you and that you will succeed and excel at. I did a quick search for you for receptionist jobs in your area and found these results. I hope these help!If you would like to do your own job search follow these steps:
