Employed finally
I'm employed actually by two great companies after driving around filling out apps, interview, second interviews, different Labs for drug testing my first week my car breaks down and there is no busses out here. Is there any agencies that helps with car repairs? Alternator, Shocks, Tires and a loud squeeking. It's an old car 1995 Buick LaSabre but own it.
I need to tell yaw something maybe I'm not alone with this.
I have never had a problem with getting a job & I am great with customers my problem is always with other employees, I am tired of hearing "Oh that's just how he/she is", after getting a rude remark now I'm on defense & uncomfortable cause I can't be around that person if that's how they are (I know me). Now after all these years of quitting jobs I realize I've let those people control my finances that's why I am driving a beat down car and they aren't. I am getting mine this time. Oh another interview in the morning!
Have you tried Embrace Iowa? Their website says that they may be able to help with repairs.
Congratulations on your success S Richmond !! That is such great news. I would follow Heather H advice on trying to get it repaired.
Alternatively, it may be time to replace it! If it's from 1995 and is starting to break down, then you are going to have to keep investing into it to keep it going.
I tried to keep an old BMW from '01 going, and spend 9months and nearly a couple thousand to keep it afloat before I cut my loses. It just isn't worth it!

Congratulations on the jobs! As far as the car repair, I'm pretty sure Midas will give you a certain amount credit line for repairs. I hope that helps.

Yes that lady called me back said it was closed who told me too call there which I thought was rude. I have an appointment next week with an Agency Voc Rehab. hopefully they can help.
