United is a good first job for 15 year olds and stuff but after you get older you realize that job is not for you, what is 7.25 going to do for you when you have responsibilities! The one I work at I use to love my job I use to love United but I transferred and every since then I regret it it was going smooth at first but then you realize so many things about it well the one I work at I could probably write a whole book about it’s crazy. There rude disrespectful and they Play favoritism. The managers only speak to who they want to. I was there before other people in the position that I wanted they gave the other person. A lot of them have a attitude because they think they’re better than everybody just because their job is a higher position they hire too many family members too many people at my job are related. Not saying no names but this girl in my job she was a few weeks new but it was still common sense a customer asked for cash back instead of him clicking on the machine how much cashback he wanted the highest that we can give back is 50 he TOLD her he wanted 100 back and she opened her drawer and gave it to him and she didn’t get demoted but there was another girl in another situation happened with her and she got demoted both the situations were both bad but if one got demoted. I got demoted for a couple months but my situation wasn’t nearly as bad as hers now Should they have demoted me yeah I was wrong but they knew she was new they should’ve demoted her until she was ready to come back up and get promoted they should know what’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong.They let the service counter people get away with a lot too saying no names but there’s this one girl and she has a boyfriend that works there and every time they see each other they hug and kiss outside which he would think it’s professional but it’s not he would even sometimes leave his register to go in the office where she was, In my opinion very unprofessional. The managers pick and choose, My grocery manager opened up a stocking position I was interested in stocking for a few months and I talk to him about stocking I asked him if the position my manager opened up a stocking position I was interested in stocking for a few months and I talk to him about stocking I asked him if the position was open he said yes I said do you need help back there in the back he said yes I said so can I do it he basically said no I’m basically cool with all the stockers in the back and they’ve been saying they needed someone else to they needed someone else to help them back there even him himself so I didn’t understand why I couldn’t have the position because I knew I could do it I told him in the other managers and he still wouldn’t let me do it he actually gave the position to a boy that was there way after I was I was there way before he was months before he was and he gave him the position and the boy was not even stocking for maybe a couple months before he quit. The excuse for the reason why he didn’t give me the position was even worse which didn’t make sense at all. But it’s OK because he lost a stocker and I know they still need help yeah he’s going to continue to refuse to give me the position and which at this point I don’t even want to anymore. He told me when I first asked that he was gonna put me on the waiting list months after one of the managers had said he just lost a stocker and he open the position so I asked him again and he basically said no again so I wasn’t gonna wait months again to ask again for the answer to still be no so I gave up! To many people up there have an attitude for no reason I hate that United I hate that job. All they do is talk about each other behind another’s back it’s so trifling. The list goes on and on about United it makes me mad just thinking about it I don’t wanna waste my time anymore on United!!!
