It really depends on what position and department you're applying for. If you are a total newbie then I wouldn't worry about it at all. Walmart hires a very diverse range of people. Walmart will hire just about anybody and train them from the ground up. If you are applying for something a little more than entry level, say HR, then I would say to just be authentic, communicate clearly, research the position just a little bit so that you know what to expect before you get there on your first day because you will undoubtedly get hired as long as you can pass the background check and can improve your identity and things like that. Walmart has a lot of benefits that come with the job. Walmart will help you go back to school. Walmart will give you job security and good pay. Walmart will give you a one or two maybe chances as far as showing up late, or getting into it with a coworker. It really depends on who your boss is whether it be that day or the entire time you're with Walmart, you want to really make sure that whoever is in charge of you approves of your work and has no complaints about you specifically. There is plenty of room for mistakes but there is a lot more room for success in the steps following your interview, shoukd u get hired. Having scored an interview with Walmart is the very best thing that a person can achieve if u ask me. Reason I say that is bc no matter who u are or where u come from or where it is u want to go, Walmart has a place for you, and you can grow from there, all the way to the very tippy top of the ladder, and then if u want to you can even move around to a different department and start from wherever u are going to be able to flirush most and do it all over again. Just do not take it for granted.. people think, "oh, it's just a Walmart job, a pigeon could do it." But they don't really realize that Walmart is THE BIGGEST name in the WORLD! Walmart associates make the world go round. My answer: Be proud to be a part of something so much bigger and enjoy the opportunity to relax and not have to worry about someone or something happening that is out of your control taking your job away from you. You have all the control within a career with Walmart. Nobody can stop u from success once you secure the job. Except YOU. Nobody can succeed for you either. What u put in is what u are going to get out of your time with Walmart. Good luck.

You will see what I mean after the interview. You have nothing to worry about. There is nothing u need to know before your interview at Walmart. Just be yourself. At Walmart, yourself, is good enough. Yourself IS exactly what they want. No matter what that looks like.

Before your interview at Walmart, make sure to research the company and its values, be prepared to discuss your experience and how it aligns with the job requirements, and come ready with questions for the interviewer. Practice common interview questions and think of specific examples to share. Additionally, dress professionally and arrive on time. Good luck!
