Hi @Anthony L - thanks for posting! Here are some jobs I think may be a good fit for you, based on your strengths. I'd recommend filling out your profile so that we can better assist you with jobs that fit your experience and requirements. :)

• Writer. If you have a talent for expressing yourself artistically through words, a job in copywriting, blogging, speech writing, or research writing could be great for you! In many cases, writers communicate with their clients via email rather than by telephone.

• Medical coding specialist. Medical coding can be an ideal career if you'd be interested in a home-based computer job that contributes to the healthcare system! In this position, you're responsible for reviewing patient records and assigning the proper codes for each diagnosis, treatment, and procedure.

• Online tutor. Helping teach others can be very rewarding! If you have a strong background in a particular academic area (or art!), you can pursue opportunities that involve sharing your knowledge via virtual means with others.

I'm agreeing w/Judy Allness. At my last IT job 2 project managers had CIs. Most communication in Information Technology is written(eMail, status reports, etc); your written English is excellent. Also, there's a need for ppl in HVAC and electrical trades; some trades schools have pgms that pay while you train. (I wonder if NYSD has help for non-students https://www.nysd.net/).

My cousin has the same implants. She works in CO doing IT. There are jobs specific for disabilities. Take classes in IT if that is of interest to u. Do what u love. What is it you WANT to do. U r only as limited as u think u r. U r young which is fantastic. The world is your oyster. I also did stand up comedy and in my group a young man had the same implants. Broaden ur horizons. Be sure to save for the future. Trust me the years go fast. I am 66 & I am still hustling. I share for others to learn. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻4 u. God bless.

You can try hotel work. Housekeeping, houseman or front desk. You don’t always need experience in hotels and depending on the company or brand, just getting your foot in the door could open up many more opportunities for you.

@Anthony L couldn't agree with @Elyssa Duncan 's suggestions more. A high school diploma is a foundational building block that opens doors. And there are jobs out there that you can get regardless of ability. Start by finding work / get your foot in the door and if you want to pursue a degree in the future - keep your eyes open for companies that offer continuing educational benefits (like tuition reimbursement).

Also doing information technology work can be a good area to go into. I would recommend knowing C++ and Java as the top 2 computer programming languages to know.
