I was 14. I worked at a local fish market restaurant, definitely a great learning experience.
My first job was assisting people in rural Jefferson Davis County Mississippi to make "something out of nothing". My job was with the County Extension Service and I loved it. $1.00 per hour was the salary!
Mine was at 15, McDonald's!! Proud to say I worked my butt off the first year to buy my 1st car & then I was able to get a job farther away at the mall.
We were migrant workers living in Laredo, TX and traveling North to weed corn, lettuce, tomatoes and then pick apples, strawberries and other fruits from age 4 until 7 when we moved to IL and parents were told I had to be in school.
I was 12 I worked at the drive in movie theater with my friends parents off the record s only on the weekends but with my parents permission

I just love all the flower pics you've been posting. I got my first job at 16. I would help and clean up after kids at a pottery teaching school. Once I got older, I became really good friends with the shop owner. She is still a friend and a mentor!
