The night before I was fired I thought that I would have a normal day and not have to do overtime. Then, all hell broke loose when I learned 3 employees were quitting and bringing in their badges to me which is not usually any responsibilities I should be challenged with but in Hectors absence I somehow was given his responsibilities! They came with badges I quickly told Security about it and asked what protocol should be followed and got their badges and immediately gave them to security and notified Hector to let Jennnifef of Illumina know what happened as preceded to do the job of two people other than my own chores and stayed to do more overtime which quickly was becoming my seventh day of relentless overtime covering for missing people whereas I should not of had to cover for them as that was Hectors responsibility and not mine! Natalie then finally arrived on the scene and tells me as I’m mopping ( in front of two Illumina employees ~ embarrassing me)how I had Messed up and made Jennifer mad because I talked to Security whe she said “ All I asked you to do was get the badges. Well, since these disgruntled employees could have been armed or shot me in the parking lot or gained access through me I felt I better have made contact with Security to insure my safety in this highly volatile situation but Batalie refuses to listen to my explanations at all interrupted me seven times while trying to explain and caused the situation to escalate into an argument when I thought I was completely out of the whole thing with getting the badges and had covered myself nicely and done what was asked of me to the best of my abilities but instead it became a heated exchange instead and finally out of desperation I simply said Natalie, you owe me an apology. Which in turn she never did and instead got me fired from the job I truly loved and did my damnedest to keep while covering for Hecto and doing my job and others jobs just to keep Illumina happy so as to not have CCS look bad , or to see to it the place looked above and beyond clean tidy and also SECURE!
