What programming language(s) should I learn as a growing data scientist?

A bunch of articles online are saying either R or Python. Are these the right languages?

I already know SQL and Java.

Thanks, everyone. I'm considering concentrating on learning the R language, I know it won't be easy for a beginner, so I found https://www.programmingassignment.net/services/r-assignment-help/ .I think you can consult with specialists here.

watched this online video series, https://www.coursera.org/course/rprog wasn't the best, but taught the basics of R.

In that case, what are the best resources to learn R and Python?

R and Python for sure. If you are looking to work at a larger "blue chip" type company, SAS is a plus. Matlab is recommended for serious modeling/mathematical work, and GNU Octave is the open source version.
