Working for Comfortkeepers
The motivation was the clients. Every day when I went to their home they were always happy to see me and I was happy to see them. I was sometimes the only person they saw on a regular basis. The clients had wonderful stories to tell about themselves and many times I heard the same stories over and over. I would listen to their stories and pretend I had never heard them before.

Linda, I know I too worked in taking care of an alziemers patient, however, I stayed with her until her demise. They are so sweet and some of the things they do will make you melt. I just got too attached and it nearly broke me when she died and then my spouse died at the same time. It is a very rewarding field with someone that wants to make a difference in people's lives.
