I think it is in the best interest for companies to give their employees time off when they are sick. Why risk having one person get everyone else at work sick or have to go through the pain of replacing a good worker who had to be let go because of attendance when they were sick. It’s all this shortsightedness that creates these terrible situations that just get amplified due to Coronavirus.
