There is nothing like on the job training. You probably know more than you think you do. You answer phones, send emails, make copies, fax, scan, calendar. Reception jobs can be slow or fast paced. Start out in a slow paced office to build your skills. Good luck.

There are many options for receptionist training, including community colleges, technical schools, online courses, and vocational training programs. One option to consider is Job Corps, a government-funded program that provides free education and vocational training to young adults. Also, many job search providers, including Jobcase, offer career advancement resources, including training programs and events.
