Hopefully the charges drop after my blood test. He pulled me over for a tail light and kept shining the light in my one BAD eye! I asked could I take out the contact bc it was dry and hurting but he wouldn’t let me. It was late and I was delivering groceries for Shipt. Needless to say they fired me because of it…sent me a background check. I don’t even know how they knew other than I had to cancel the orders!

I am in the same boat…got a DWI but NOT for alcohol. I willingly submitted to a blood test then hired a lawyer. He says I didn’t appear to be under the influence (I HAD been on prescription drugs but none that day!) it was late and I couldn’t see at night through my one contact. It has been a way for the system to bleed me dry!

Anyway I want to teach but fear I’ll be rejected after background check!

As a former high level recruiter I could give you a lot of behind the scenes info on how to apply etc but I am not going to write a book on this site. Also your question doesn't make any sense?

I find all my jobs at fast food restraunt they hiring anyone no background checks with restraunts. They pay starting 12$hour up to 14$ hour

I would suggest anyone reading this with a background to seek an expungement/sealing of their records. the only crime that can’t be expunged are sexual cases and domestic violence cases. Also just explain how you made a mistake however u r seeking to repair and rebuild ur self after so much trauma
