Only do it if there are no other options. Most, not all but most, managers have poor schooling and even worse manager training. I have taken every business call at my HIGH SCHOOL and I have corrected my mangers: Spelling, Grammar, Numbers (sales, gross $, etc). Truly sad seeing someone in high school outsmart and out manage a manager. Like I said, not all are like this, we have a semi new manager fresh out of high school, one year old than me, and she is a great manager and person. She is good with customers and the other workers, would not be surprised to see her become the head manager if she decides to stay, only issue is there are no real incentives to stay. ALSO don't be tricked by the tray papers that say they will help with college and offer you a lot of money for bringing in new workers. My restaurant has nothing unless you're a manager in way of helping finance college. Also the "good amount of money" for bringing in new workers is $50 and only if they stay for six months, which hardly anyone does. At Chick fil A my friend gets around a $500 bonus if you bring someone in and they stay for four months. All in all, only do it if you do not have enough experience to be hired elsewhere
