Remote and Travel Jobs
ABC Financial is a software development and billing company based out of Sherwood, Arkansas. They provide software and billing solutions for the health club industry.
The company currently has several career opportunities that extend outside of their corporate location.
I worked for this company for several years in several positions (Member Services, Club Services, Help Desk, Implementations, and Contract Management). They are a great employer who provides competitive pay, paid time off, holidays off, weekends off for member services, full-time hours, overtime options, and a full line of benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k, and more.
REMOTE CUSTOMER SERVICE The company is currently hiring for remote member services agents but currently only in the following states:
Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas or Virginia
You must have your own computer and stable high-speed internet connection to do this job. The system requirements are listed in the job description here:
ONSITE IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST In addition to the remote customer service agent, they also have positions available for Onsite Implementation Specialists. There is no geographic location limitation for this job; though you should be close to an airport for it to be worth your time.
This is a travel-heavy job. If you want to travel for work and meet customers from all over while setting them up on ABC FInancial's proprietary software. You will be away from home for long periods of time, often booking travel to one city directly from the current city you are working in. You will earn a boatload of frequent flyer miles and hotel status points, but you may forget what your home looks like.
If you have children or pets, this is not the job for you. If you are single, love traveling and making new friends wherever you go, this is the job for you. Details here:
It's been almost nine years since I left ABC Financial, so things may have changed a lot. If you have questions, feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them.
Best of luck!

Hi ANTHONY, MSN FINANCE AUTOMATIC POWER REMOTE & TRAVEL JOBS. TYPE IN (MSN REMOTE & TRAVEL JOBS)

God bless you. They should not have treated you that way. It seems to be the norm these days; they are just looking for ways to terminate people, with no regard to how it affects that person. Again I pray for blessing and peace for you.

I worked for ABC Financial for two years. I loved the job, at first, and even at the end, I still enjoyed the job itself, just not the management change. All I will say is this: be careful. This company offers a decent starting wage for WAH employees, higher than most actually, plus full benefits. They also only work Monday-Friday, which is a plus for some of us, although I always ended up picking up overtime on Saturdays doing emails. They send you all equipment necessary to do your job, so again, another plus.
The benefits are good but be forewarned that the insurance has an extremely high deductible, so even if something catastrophic happens, you'll be paying at the least $2,500 out of pocket as a deductible, and your doctor visits do not count towards that. Also, you have to be legally married in order to put your significant other on your benefits, such as health or dental insurance.
When I say be careful, this is why. I was promoted five times in a two year span. I worked from member services up to client services, all the way to training new hires, which is what I was doing before I was terminated. Yes, you read that right. I was terminated after being promoted five times within two years. Why? Because I became seriously ill and went on an accommodation due to needing more frequent breaks than the norm. The HR department, including the head of HR actually spoke with all three of my doctors and specialists, so they were well aware of my illnesses and what it entailed. They agreed to accommodate me.
About two months prior to being terminated, I found out my mother in law had stage four pancreatic cancer. She was dying. I was working so much, I rarely saw her. I took one day off to go with her to have a very invasive test done, which work knew about and said as long as I got a note, it would be excused. It never was. This was in late August 2015.
I was still extremely sick myself, plus going through this with my mother in law, and my husband is disabled, so my plate was full. I was on an accommodation for additional breaks and break times, so I thought I had all my bases covered. I was sorely mistaken. At the end of September 2015, I came back from lunch 3 minutes late. I let them know I was late, but it should be covered by my accommodation as it was due to my illness. They agreed, and I figured everything was fine.
On October 8, I was terminated. I was simply told that I went past the absentee policy of five absences per year. Here's the kicker though: only one of those absences was not covered by my accommodation or a doctor's note. So, technically, I had one absence. I was technically terminated for coming back from lunch 3 minutes late, in which I inferred a .25 infraction. This is what ultimately caused my termination, .25.
I fought hard to be reinstated. I loved my job. I loved the fact that I worked in five different departments and I could do all sorts of things that others couldn't. The one thing that I didn't love, and no one else did either, was when we had an upper management change and got stuck with a director of ops that did not know what she was doing and did not care about her employees. I was told that I would not be considered for rehire, and the termination would stand. I was hurt and confused but let it go because I didn't have the energy to fight any longer. I fought for over a month but they refused to budge, even though I had notes from doctors and notes from them where my absences were excused. My mother in law passed away three days after Thanksgiving 2015, so I honestly didn't have it in me to keep going through the fight for this job.
I guess what I'm trying to say is realize going in that this company has extremely strict rules. They will not budge, and even if they are wrong, they will not care about their employees. I hated it because I truly did love my job there but I would never consider going back now knowing what I know. If you do, good luck, and I hope things work out for you! The company itself is great, just err on the side of caution when it comes to upper management.

I wanted to know if any remote jobs available?

Hi Lenin: I am located in MI. Is the company seeking anyone in remote sales?

Right on the Money! Thanks Anthony Harrington
