Worried

Back in 2011 I was (wrongfully) convicted of "Attempted Forgery". Even though I didn't do anything, my lawyer said it was a better idea to take the plea of 2 years probation and no jail time rather than take it to a jury (which, had I done that I probably would have lost and ended up in prison). I agreed, did my two years probation and was done.

I havent really had an issue finding work. I was hired at a hospital doing Registration and I currently work in RETAIL at a tool store as a cashier handeling money, credit cards, checks ect.

Ive been looking for a second job and am worried about them doing a BG check. Even though I havent been in any trouble since or even before that, it's still worrisome. I got hired at walmart but the retracted the offer because my felony isnt 10 years or older.

I recently got a Supervisor position job offer at Castle Mega Store and I know they will be doing a BG check. I'm scared I'm going to lose this job offer.

Ive had no incidents with regarding my conviction at my current job and can provide proof. I also have character witness letters attesting my dedication, skills and "reform".

Any words of advice would be appreciated...if I lose this offer, I'm going to lose my damn mind
