My advice to people interested in working at #UltaBeauty as a #Manager ...
I wouldn’t work for them. I went to my manager and asked why he was out to get me and he acted like he didn’t have a clue what I was talking about. 2 months prior I had told our loss provention team that him and another girl were doing time card fraud and playing favorites. I also told my salon market trainer and the DM. I ended up getting fired because he said I went into overtime and was on a final. NOTE: I never got a warning for going into overtime. I reviewed my packeckes and Ulta. Approved from the gm 2 holiday pay in two different paychecks. Which Ulta’s policy says holiday pay isn’t overtime. It’s either you get the extra 8 hours or take a day off. I brought it up to HR they said nothing. When told I spoke with the DM they said they had no record of it when I had taken pictures on my phone of the time, day and length of phone call. I was told that I hired without the GM’s approval. That was a lie. I can’t hire someone without a technical and all offers prior are contingent on a technical. That’s how I was offered and offered my stylists jobs. No one, not even a salon manager above me said it was wrong. She told me to offer less pay then what I had been. If the DM does not recognize allocations made against a GM, and the Gm has HR records of multiple offenses of the same thing on various employees. They’re more for trying to hid Ulta as a company selling reused products if the cashier doesn’t check it before a return is complete then keeping honest employees.
Sounds like u might wanna talk to a lawyer for advice .Perhaps they can shed some light on what else u can do.Best of luck to u
