People person, patience, friendly, smart, understand about your customers need and helpful,

Must have good communication skills patience and most of know ur department whatever it maybe

In my experience it's always a plus to have sales experience. Knowing your product 110 percent. Having good work ethic and really knowing how to make the customers feel like there given the best de with the certain product there there interested in.

In my experience it's always good to have experience. As well as knowing the product 100 percent. Good work ethic has always appreciated. And being punctual.

Most employers want someone with sales experience but you have to get your foot in the door somewhere. You have to be prepared most of the time to just earn commission. Learn your merchandise when I started every morning I would walk the floor to see what we had to sell, I also became familiar with all the catalogs and merchandise we could order and learned what we had on inventory I could pull from. You have to enjoy working with the public and learn to calm situations down when the customer gets overheated. They mostly want to know you are listening and that you want to help them. Wish you all the best.

Best thing i could tell you about sales is this: it aint about givin the customer a good deal, or best price, or the latest and greatest merchandise. THE MAIN THING U WANT THE CUSTOMER TO KNOW IS THAT THEY WERE TAKEN CARE OF. If u make a customer feel like u took care of them, u will have a lifetime customer.
