I am recently unemployed from my job from a pipeline company. The business was great until the plummet of oil and gas prices at the time of the pandemic. More than 30 employees were let go as we were told that the business has suffered greatly. Will this qualify me for the extra 600.00 relief payment in addition to my regular unemployment? Hope someone has had the same experience and can enlighten me. I have been waiting over a month for someone to contact me in reference to my benefits. I found out today that they are questioning whether my lay off was actually due to the Pandemic. I appreciate any help. Thank you.
