Here’s What’s Considered An ‘Essential Business’ In Maryland During COVID-19
There are many questions on which businesses are deemed “essential” and can stay open amid the coronavirus pandemic.
These food and agricultural businesses can remain open in Maryland:
- grocery stores
- farmer’s markets
- convenience stores
- alcoholic beverage stores/distributors
- farms
- pet supply stores
- vet hospitals
- restaurants and bars are required to close their dining rooms but can operate carry-out, delivery, drive-thrus
