Title confusion

I was recently transferred to a different division of a company I have worked with for approximately 3 years. Logistically, this was a beneficial move because It's a much shorter commute. The new role also offers more challenges/opportunities to allow me xontinued learning and experience.

The problem is, when I was transferred, I was not given a new title, a pay increase, or even a set of documented job responsibilities. I insisted on all of these before I moved but was, literally, ignored and avoided by tge Regional Manager. Consequently, I am now being overwhelmed with new projects as well as being pulled in 10 different directions.

How do I pin down the things I asked for before the transfer?

I can’t seem to leave my work AT home!

I swear my wife is going to KILL me. When I am at home it’s like I didn’t even leave the office. I just have so much to do. I eat dinner with her at least, but I occasionally will glance at my phone and then she promptly gives me the death stare. You know the one I am talking about. I realize I work too much, but I need to and I can’t seem to separate work from home. HOW do I do this? I don't want to end up in divorce court, but my job and success is key. I am building a future for us!

FrIdAy FuNnY!

Sometimes we just need a laugh and this is the one thing cracking me up to no end today.

It starts of so optimistic and cute and just goes off the rails.

Broke America!!

2 jobs and 70 hours later but still can't get out of my parents basement. Less than 1%, I don't think so. Not without 3 or 4 other roommates. http://www.cnbc.com/2017/07/14/only-point-1-percent-of-us-minimum-wage-workers-can-afford-a-1-bedroom.html

Employer is abusing Salary workers

Is it legal to make Salary employees work 7 days a week at 10 to 12 hours a day? I understand Salary workers are given one flat payment no matter how many hours they work. Issue is I just got a salary position at a new company and they make me work from home on the weekends and keep me late on the week days. It's impossible to take care of my 5 month old and work these hours. I am in Atl GA. Thank you!

I worked at #Storopack because...

The hours used to be ideal for my family and the pay plus quarterly bonuses are nice.
