I think I'm losing my mind...
The doctor I work for, she's closing her office & moving to a hospital and today, Nov. 30th is my last day. Earlier this week, on monday & tuesday the phones were ringing off the hook, and only me answering & rooming patients as well. My brain has turned into mush, and I'm messing up. I've forgotten to give a couple of important messages, like how a patient was in the ER. I'm at a point right now that I just can't do it anymore. I'm forgetting to do things, and when patients call, I have a hard time understanding what they want to ask the doctor, mainly because they beat around the bush & not get to the point. I hate phone calls & I hate this office, I feel like I should just get my paycheck and just walk out of here. I just can't do it anymore. And my co-worker wants me to work part-time in this office to scan things for insurance and I don't know if I can do that. I need a break but at the same time, I need money too.
Any help & suggestions will be greatly appreciated

What is the main cause of burnout with a job?
Hi I have been thinking about this lately. For example. I have been working in the restaurant industry for quite some time. Pretty much from the bottom on up.. I enjoy cooking. Kind of a huge stress reliever for me.. But one day when I was at work I felt drained kind of listless just there type of feeling. I have no problem when I cook at home. Still can't quite understand what happened.i also have experience in various types of jobs. Construction, laborer, clerical, so a change of pace was good. Now when I work in the kitchen I have no problem. Curious on any ideas, input, or information on what would cause a person to burnout in their profession, and what could be done to possibly prevent such a thing to happen.. Thank you

Terminated because i did my job well
I started a new job 3 weeks ago with a freight shipping company within my first week of being there I was training new hires doing extra work anything I could to keep my hours up people were commenting on how I was such a hard worker dedicated to what I was doing and wanted to learn everything the beginning of my second week there I was pulled aside and asked if I wanted to start training to be a coordinator on days the coordinators were off all my work and been noticed after the first week. The first two days that I filled in as coordinator all the little click of women started complaining why was I able to do this why was I picked I must be a favorite they were told they didn't put any ambition into trying they did not mention one thing about wanting to move up I was told to ignore the comments do my job which I did on my last day there I was hit from every direction with Attitude from people someone wanting to pick an argument with me other standing in the corner looking and gossiping I just kept ignoring it at the end of the shift we would have a shift meeting with all the employees in the higher-ups to let us know how things were going how we did for the day at the end of this meeting one of my co-workers wanted to speak freely everyone was called an M effer they were yelled at screamed at by this person in front of all the higher-ups and no one said a thing to them about their attitude or the way they were speaking to people she was upset at the fact that she had been overlooked the next morning I come into work with Dread but I came in anyway with my head held high and found out I had been terminated I was originally told by an HR person that I was terminated due to a failed drug test which I knew there was no way possible that could have happened I do not do drugs I text my supervisor trying to find out why I was terminated he said he would check into it I informed his boss that I wanted to speak to her she never called no one returned my calls until 3 that afternoon and finally someone said there was a mistake I've been terminated due to something on my background check I find it funny the day after all this drama started that I get terminated and at the following meeting the day of my first terminated day that lead informs everybody the problem has been taken care of and there should be no more drama and that department if I was terminated due to something on my background check then why have all the other places that I've applied for cleared me for background checks giving me offers for jobs even high-security places. Also my supervisor that I found out after I got there it was known for messing up everyone's hours and pay checks mine was messed up the week before and I brought it to his attention so he said he would take care of it never did I got HR involved and finally a week later got it solved because I threatened to go to the labor board word to the wise if they want you gone they will find a way to make you gone
