The biggest mistake I made as a #Secretary(Eng./Arabic) at #ZuhairFayezPartnership(ZFP),SaudiArabia. ...
If I would have made a big mistake, I would have never continue my services for 15 years sincerely and get appreciation certificates and trophies towards my dedicated services and transferred to SNC Lavalin with other staff.

Unfair treatment
I was working there a temp agency and was told my assignment ended due to not meeting my numbers. Upon trying to get unemployment they are not allowing me to qualify. Was told I had to call one a week. I did but at another office per the agency's instructions due to I am looking foe employment in the city not suburbs. Instead of them telling unemployment I was with another office the response with I am not calling them. I live alone I am the only source of income I am months behind on bills and this temp agency is treating me this way. Still calling the agency they have a new approach. They offer me a assignment in the suburbs knowing I have no transportation and I requested assignments in the city. Of course unemployment is saying I am refusing jobs. This added stress is wrong and makes it hard for me to keep a positive attitude in looking for a job. I cry and pray in the mean time I have no money for food , transportation, bills, rent. I fight how I feel to keep from falling into a deep depression. By me being 57 years old looking for work is hard enough. Having to deal with this unfair treatment is not making things better.

Great Goal
IN September of 1991, I was hit head on by a drunk driver. I was in rehabilitation places and hospitals for 3 1/2 years. Relearning to walk, be sociable, relearning to use my left arm, and other things. I wasn't supposed to get as far as I have come. I am strong, but can also be stubborn, until things get down, the way they need to get done to be completed. I give 100%.

The right thing?
A coworker and myself where working on similar projects in d different areas, we had requested different materials to complete the task. After a few hours he had finished his task and I was still working on mine for about an hour or so more. The foreman had hazed me lightly about talking longer than he had. I had wondered if I should have done something differently or similar to my co worker. the next day the conduit he had put up was all but laying on the floor the way he had supported his pipe was inadequate and did not last. the job had to be redone. This time the foreman had asked him to do as I had done. Doing things the right way sometimes takes longer and more effort but it is less likely that a redo will be needed. I learned that this is the best way although sometimes not the fastest in the long run it ended up taking less time than than the fast and sloppy instal.

good in hands on work.
ive been doing alot of hands on work. specally when im on call. its because if i do it by my hands my brain will pick up the fast pase work. thats how i work. i can do it by sight. if i do it that way i wont learn. so im more of an hands on worker. friendly, respectful, and love to see people smile eaither when there walking in or out. thats my favorite job. and love to see people smile for no reason at all... well ok i love to make funny jokes just to see people laugh.

The Job World is against you if you are over 60
I know this lady who is over 65 and was fired from her job. The powers that be claimed she was rude to someone. Now in all the time I've known her, she was NEVER rude to anyone. She did more work in 1 hour than many of the staff did ALL DAY! And just 1 complaint ? They didn't do any investigation that I am aware of; it was just BOOM YOU'RE FIRED. She said to me, "What am I going to do, I'm over 60 and this is all I could get...." I told her I would help with references if she needed them, but this is chicken sh** And we have no legal recourse...'Employment at Will' and all that rubbish! Who ever came up with that should be horse whipped; with a real horse! I've seen far too many 18 to 30 year olds who are useless lumps. They only got hired because they were one of the "chosen families" or "one of us" or they were related to the right ones. Where I live this is a way of life. We have a county clerk here who was convicted of drunk driving and possession of cocaine and guess what, she still has her job. Being married to the sheriff has its perks. Well I guess its time to get off my soap box, so Adios Amoeba!

Tattoos
Why do tattoos have to define my work ethic? What makes me not good enough

Good customer service feedback
To me customer service has been my passion. It makes perfect Sence with all the possitive feed back from customers for decades .. Very enlightening to me when I know I'm doing my job well.

Quit over ethics
I worked as a property manager and one of the Board members took advantage of his fiduciary duties. When I found out about it he threatened to get me fired and tried to turn the shareholder community against me. My company did nothing to protect me. They were more concerned about keeping the client. I resigned to protect my reputation. How do I handle reason for leaving in an interview with a potential employer.

Let's get the work done!
Enjoy every day is different! Doesn't matter if it's an office or out in the field. It will be a different day. Always room for improvement and always something that needs to be done. I evaluate my job performance daily, adjust and accommodate to meet team goals and be productive. For me, it's simple, I love working.
