Got hurt on an interview

I was asked to report to an interview site recently near an airport with high security. I arrived in a suit and they wanted a passport for an ID. I didn't have one just my license. The guard got frustrated and made the gal that had the appt w me come and get me. He gave me a badge to wear 'at all times' which I placed on my lapel, and in the meantime the gal skirted through the security stiles just ahead of me. She seemed to be waiting for me and I didn't see anything barring my way in the stiles so I proceeded through them as normal. Wham!!!! These thick clear plastic flaps came slamming down on my legs and it hurt! Oh man did that hurt. And neither person said anything to me. I ripped off my badge and obv swiped the security stile to open them again and I proceeded through, ego hurt as well as legs. I'm such an idiot, I felt. The next day I had forgotten until I showered and there was literally a giant hematoma on my left thigh and bruising on my right. They emailed the next day to say thenks but no thanks. I think they were scared! Be careful out there hazards are everywhere! TG I had another offer waiting for me from someone else.

Need help

Hi. I quit my last 2 jobs and I was only employed 6 months at each job. I don't move around. The first one that I quit I was desperate since I just moved back to Texas and needed employment. I knew when the office mgr told me that she was office mgr by name only and the Dr's wife liked to micromanage that it wasn't a good fit. I found another job that was ideal for me but the office politics and clicks made me miserable.. So my question is how do I explained this without talking bad of previous employment

Work your strengths.

I enjoy working with people but have spent a lot of time driving empty buses to schools. I feel it is a valuable service but feel I should have spent more time getting a job that fit my desire to work with others.

Working?

Was so happy of getting the new job getting back to work oh yes!! But when they said things changed ah yup they sure have, such as not enough oxygen in the building as if I am to be a Vacuum packed employee, standing at the cheese island making salads gasping for breath and being chilled at the same time such the sensation of suffocating in the cold air, then the joy of collapsing out in he front of my new employer that all was a given, then my ride arrives and I am looking like I should with the problem concealed so they would not be all worried. And to think worried about not being employed and having I do believe I shall be keeping the most important thing of being able to breath before any thing else.

Got a Job at Taco Bell but Need Some Advice

After months of job hunting, I finally got a job at taco bell.

I am very grateful for this opportunity, but after working there for some time I have come to not like some of the staff there for a few reasons.

Do not get me wrong I actually like working there and I am grateful for the chance I got but after these few behaviors, I need some advice on what to do because it is affecting my physically and makes me not want to go to work anymore because I can not take hot fryer pan to the face.

The main one is when I have to wash dishes they throw hot equipment at me, not the sink but at me, and it has burned me several times now that I have blisters and scars on my face and hands.

I tried to report it but the manager who works on my shift ignore me and couldn't care less even though my hands from them throwing nacho cheese that was more scolding than the sun itself has left noticeable holes in my hands that have barely just fully recovered. Another time they threw these pans that contain the food and it burned my hands trying to catch them from falling onto the floor along with scooper for the beans flying off and the hot scolding beans landing right on my face.

Look I am fine with working on a fryer and I expect I get burned from that from the oil popping out from time to time, but what I do not expect is employees throwing hot equipment at me risking hurting both me and breaking the equipment.

I do like working there and it upsets me to see people care so little for both their fellow employees and the equipment used. If they care that little about being there, fast food or not they shouldn't be there this causes not only a safety risk but takes money away from the company so we can fix the equipment they are breaking.

Another issue I have is that they force me and another employee to take on all jobs in the store while everyone else only has one. Even then I can hear them laughing and standing around when we are supposed to be doing orders and it is really affecting our service speed. It really does upset me because there are families waiting out there for so long I can actually hear their stomach's growling, but I turn around and see half the staff on their phones and refusing to cooperate with other staff.

I really do not know what to do to fix this issue. I do not want people to get fired, but I am getting hurt way too much for what the job requires by people who clearly do not want to be there.

While not at work,,,,,

Its not a secret of me being with out a home, after awhile becomes a way of life and do learn to survive, slept in the car when I was little didnt bother then, guess it was training for the real thing, and one thinks OK I'll get a travel trailer and work up to a nice model. Sorta kinda did, got my address squared away and the usual issues with an rv, had to relocate bumped outta where I was they got tired of me so back to the street but this time its a travel trailer not a car but yet "life isnt as nice as it was prior to being moved, just shortly after getting it docked a few day later after all was working as it should the thing didnt like the move and the h.v.a.c. system quit so now its a chiller in the early mornings wardrobe is winter jammies, bathrobe and heavy coat to keep warm until the sun shine takes over it wouldnt have been to bad if I had the knowledge of fixing it myself but sorry to say not my area of expertise. On the upside still showed up clean and pressed for the new job I work so hard to aquire. Guess one might say I am on the roller coaster of life, gonna have them ups and downs. Or the expression I love the most, " we are gonna soar to higher heights and deeper depths"
