Looking for a welding job

I work for a company that I have to make a good test score to just do welding but the kick me out and put me in paint because I am a temporary And I am also have a welding certificate. I applied for the Union for pipefitter and took the weld test on pipe and they x rated the pipe and I past and I told the company I putting my 2 week notice in and now they want me to stay because I am certified in welding but I am not welding just paint so I quit and now I am making more money then I ever did. I got my bills paid and also bought a new truck.

hey im with you. im a parolee that did the welding program in prison been out for 90 days amd am having a extremely hard time finding a job. it sux bad.

I've just relocated here from Arkansas and ive had a hard time finding a good place to work. I'm currently going through the hiring process with a company but I'm not happy with the way they run and I'm still looking around. I'm looking to work within 40 miles of Huntsville Texas. If anyone knows anything suitable please let me know.

Anyone know where to take pipe welding classes on the gulf coast

My 16 year old nephew is in tech school for welding. He was curious what kind of welding jobs are out there that doesn't require you to be on your feet for long periods of time (he has a knee problem). I'm a single father of one. I just want to get ahead for once. I went to college for welding for a year. But no diploma . I have to retake one class in the fall to bump my GPA for financial aid... Why is life so hard?

Its a seasonal type of job, they can only afford to keep small amout of people during off season. Dont get attached to the job.
