Are the Verizon Field Service Technicians and Call Center Reps. unionized?

It’s not clear on the Verizon career page if the field techs and call center agents still belong to a union or if the union participation is optional.

Relocate

If there are job openings in Chattanooga, would you send me the links to the openings so I can apply. I would love to work for Verizon and feel that I am a good fit. Thank you

Bilingual Spanish Call Center Representative

Have put in 2 applications and ONLY ONE PERSON EMAILED AND WHEN I CALLED AND SENT HIM AN EMAIL, both of those either DISCONNECTED or just NOT IN SERVICE. Other then that NO ONE HAS GOTTEN BACK TO ME. I'm very disappointed!

Hello John,

I called the Verizon, Market Street location, in Newark for some employment information this morning but unfortunately got the office voicemail box.

The best application approach for Verizon is to create a career account through their online career page (https://careers.verizon.com/psc/vzehpra/EMPLOYEE/HRMS/c/B_RS_MENU.B_RS_JL.GBL?css=vztmpl&Page=B_RS_JL_LOGIN&). You will be required to submit your resume and agree to their online rules and regulations. Please note that the official title of the position you're interested in is Customer Service Tech I within the Operations Division. You’ll also have the option to set job alerts on your Verizon profile for future technician openings within your area. Technician positions with Verizon offer great pay, benefits, and can be relatively competitive so I would also suggest the following:

1- Expand the radius on your search for openings within 100 miles - company vehicles are provided and you may receive additional compensation for travel expenses.

2- Network - reach out to anyone you may know who works for Verizon seek referrals or internal contact resources.

3- Customer Service - Verizon is currently hiring retail customer service agents within your area which will allow you to get your foot in the door. Employees are typically able to transfer to other departments after the probation period.

Hope this information is helpful. Let me know how things work out. Best of Luck!!
