I am a college student and am considering a part-time job to help with expenses. I just turned 21, so I think I am eligible to drive for UPS. I noticed they have three shifts available- sunrise, day and twilight. How flexible are they with scheduling? Also do they pay hourly or per mile?

Any one that is struggling with getting a job Don't worry have been looking for a job for over 4 months now at 17 years old it's hard I know trust me I have two opportunities one with Aria senior living and one with outback steakhouse I had a job interview at both of them and trust me i didn't get to go to neither one of them because of the transportation issue I am still looking for a job trying to decide whether to home with both or just one . so all i am saying to all of you that are struggling to find or get a job good luck I hope you get one I have faith in you i know you can do it if any question or more good advise comment and i will do my best to help Happy late Thanksgiving .

Yes im interested in the driver helper job but first is there another up coming event like maybe starting the first of the year. Cause this is a perfect job for me im a fast paced kind of person with no car and the only transportation i have is embark bus

Idk what to do in this backwards town Im living in. I keep trying to get help to find work like apply for the work programs but no luck they give me the run around. Temp places say they hire work with felonies but they give me No work I don't have a car and transportation is a problem and the city bus system is unreliable. It sucks I'm on the verge of being homeless. I feel helpless I wish God would just let me die my prayers go unanswered.

I recently got pulled over and the state officer said he clocked me going 59 in a 30mph zone. I KNEW that wasn't even possible because I was in 8th gear and coasting along

When he told me the reason for pulling me over, I told him there's no way that was possible! I was driving empty and to reach 59 in 8th would have had to have a heavy load in the trailer and have some serious momentum going. I explained this and mentioned that he prob accidentally clocked one of the passenger cars in the left passing lane.

He must not have liked that because he proceeded with a LEVEL 3 inspection. He came back with an inspection report and no citation to sign. Later on I notice the report had a speeding violation on the report!

Safety dept said there's no way I can fight this violation because I wasn't given a citation?!? Is this true I can't contest this?? WTH
