How is everyone? I saw this earlier this week and wanted to share it with my trucker buddies. I know this country isn't always perfect, but we need to be thankful for what we have and take the small wins. We are pretty damn lucky in a lot of ways.

I've been working the same place for almost 3 years now and I would like to make more money and better company to work for. Just wish there was something better for me and could work closer to my home instead of always traveling 30 mins to and from work everday! I'll keep searching til I find that higher paying job and closer to my home and I'm not giving up!

I have been applying for hundreds of jobs and all has been unsuccessful. I'm getting slightly disappointed here. It seems like the ONLY thing I qualify for is to be a substitute teacher which is NOT enough to pay rent and car payment.

Im a mother of 5 and have a grandson my motor went out in my truck 6 months ago i have 21 years experience as a cashier every job i apply for the managers not COMPREHENDING i can work Monday thru Saturday 9-6 because of public transportation and they still put me on the schedule for sunday still want me to close why is it so hard AT MY WITS ENDS

Im a driver of 3 years now, i started a lease purchase program with one of the slightly bigger companies. They might be a mega carrier im not sure but, my dm is trying to get me to go back to the northeast region after i just got out of NY being stuck under cmv ban for 3 days and im really not tryin to go back. I told him i was uncomfortable an didnt feel safe going back an he did not respond with any other loads than the ones going back into freezing weather when i have no bunk heater and having to idle my truck burning unnecessary fuel to not freeze. Just to say i pay for the fuel but dont get 100% fuel surcharge an even though they are sitting me down and not moving me i still got the bills coming at the end of the week. Any help.

I moved from Akron, Oh to Mercer P. A. In search of a job I tell everyone that I don't have a high school diploma or ged I worked as a supervisor at American Utility Processing in Ohio for 13 years I also know how to operate ctl lines operate over head cranes and forklifts in all hopes I will not give up looking only hoping to find a similar job any will to just can't travel no more than 30 minutes

I have worked as a DSP for the last 6 years and i lost my job in September of 2018 i have been applying to numerous companies but because i do not have my own vehicle these companies will not hire me. Can someone please point me in the right direction of a company that does not require me to have my own vehicle and thats metro accessible..I am located in the DC area .

Im looking to part- time a job that is not going to take up a couple of hours of traveling a day to and from work .

Hey I'm new to all this but I wanted to come on here to say that after reading through some of other people's issues I became more not ashamed of my situation,I'm a single mother who was looking for employment,I didn't have no transportation I was and still am getting evicted and didn't know where to turn to. I was giving up. Up until my lil one boosted my bruised ego,gave me energy that I needed,and a friend all in one. I got up ,went for and interview and got the job. I know at times it's hard and you feel like there's no hope left. I'm here to say there is still Hope and don't just give up even when your up in a corner. Get yourself out that corner and figure a way. I'm still having hope with everything that is still happening around me. But congratulations to everyone on their success and Don't give up.
