Thank You, Gracias, Danke, Merci Beaucoup!

How can I find another member on the site? I received a email last month with a comment someone posted on this site about a call center job fair. I was fortunately able to follow through and just completed my 2nd interview with the company yesterday. I think my chances to get hired for the job look real good and I want to send a thank you note to the person that sent me that info. Can someone show me how I can search or find the person who sent me the message. I looked through my email but it looks like I already deleted it. Thanks.

Thanks everyone. . .

I just wanted to thank everyone for their helpful, heartfelt and honest suggestions and ideas for my situation. Unfortunately there has been no resolution. I am currently seeking employment elsewhere while maintaining an open and positive attitude at my current employer. There are many aspects that I thoroughly enjoy but the negativity truly outweighs the positive. I suggest that anyone looking for their first job or play money apply at retail stores, in fact that's what they are looking for. A ton of part timers. Not really dedicated, hardworking individuals looking to better themselves. I'm sorry if I am sounding negative or if I am offending anyone. Truth is, I'm tired of caring and getting walked over. Thanks again for the thoughts and suggestions everyone!

Courtesy of a Reply Does Not Exist by Many

This is more of a comment rather than a question. I have found it increasingly frustrating and disheartening that neither HR representatives nor Hiring Managers will reply to a thank you message, via e-mail or telephone call, after a candidate has completed an in-person interview. I would completely understand if the thank you message included some sort of requested feedback regarding the interview result or the timing of a decision regarding filling the open position for which was applied, but I am talking about a simple thank you message for their time and consideration of the particular job opening. I usually send out a thank you e-mail to the attendees of my interviews, the following business day after a given interview, just to thank them for their time and consideration. To date I have not received one response from anyone to which I have sent a follow-up thank you message. And none of my follow-up e-mails have included any requested response regarding the status of the job or anything else related to the interview........just simple thank you messages. I have always thought that it is the right thing to do, in most any experiences of life, to reciprocate politeness to others. Apparently when it comes to those that are in positions of making hiring decisions a reply to a simple thank you message from a candidate is just taboo!

Many Thanks!

I just finished a wonderful interview for what could possibly end up being a dream job opportunity in the advertising industry if I can land an offer. The Human Resources agent that contacted me for the initial phone screen and arranged my interview was extremely professional and courteous with me during the whole process leading up to my first interview. I don’t know how much input she has on the final decision but I would like to show my appreciation for everything she’s done to help me get to this far in the hiring process. Which is more professional, a thank you card, email, or letter?

Thank You Jobcase!!

Well I didn't find my dream job...lol but I did find a temporary job that can turn into a permanent job. I still have an opportunity at another job that I'm waiting here back from. Both jobs I found on this site. To all other job seekers, don't give up. There are opportunities out there. You just have to keep knocking on the doors. Make sure that you complete your profile as much as possible. I wish you all the best of luck!
