I worked for UPS for 38 years! I retired from there and still have a decent retirement. It isn’t a cush job, you earn your pay. They expect you there every day and demand a good days work.
Those standardized test are my down fall. I’m a hard worker, just not as fast as others. I like to work on my own and I can work with a team. I’ve had leadership roles, but I am not always the first person to speak up or stand up. I have a lot to offer to a company, but those test seem to be my downfall. I’m not one to toot my own horn or exaggerate my capabilities. Any advice on how you take those test? I answer the questions honestly, but should I start lying?
I was at my local library taking an assessment test and ran out of time on the computer and couldn’t finish the test I’m lost is that the end have I just failed to obtain the position?
I recently did a test to see if my clothes REALLY change my outlook and how I feel about myself. On Monday I wore jeans and a sweatshirt all day and Tuesday I wore a dress with a cardigan. What I found was that I really did feel more refreshed and excited for the day on Tuesday. It somehow made me feel motivated. Does anyone else feel this way depending on how they dress????
