I am looking to build my career in Marketing. It's been difficult for me to find a permanent job in television production. Been laid off too many times. I need stability and recently got into Marketing. I absolutely love it and want to continue to learn the business more.
That depends on whether you work for a company owned restaurant or a franchisee. If a franchisee has multiple units there may be more opportunity for advancement. The corporation typically offers a lot of on going training i.e. BKU (Burger King University), and this training is exceptional. Career advancement in any company can be complicated since entry level employees may be subject to an immediate supervisor/manager that is not committed to your growth. A "good" overall attitude and job performance goes a long way in one's career development. Good luck in your pursuits.
