I desire a career change to be a Data Analyst. I realized mid-career that what I enjoy the most is chasing after the answer hidden in datasets.

I started as an Engineer, and rose to an Engineering Database Administrator at The AMES Companies. I am excellent at juggling multiple tasks and priorities. My co-workers and bosses confided in me and trusted me to deliver results no matter the task. I absorb everything thrown at me, and I myself am always surprised at how quickly I can learn and adapt.

Happy New Year! Almost four years ago, I made the decision to pivot and make a career change to Property Management, and I couldn't be happier! Now that we are "empty nesters", my wife and I are chasing our dream of moving to Colorado! Life is good! In a perfect world, I will find a PM position with a company whose core values line up well with mine, especially honesty, integrity, and caring. I hope to find a company where we can live on site, preferably at a sister property nearby. I received my CAM Certification February 1, 2023.
In just under four years in Property Management, I have managed through a sale and a purchase of a property, a refinancing, a rehab, a pandemic, and the challenges which came after the pandemic, namely employee turnover, Section 8 increases, and delinquency issues that went through the roof. My decades of managing and owning restaurants and catering companies prepared me well for the daily challenges in Property Management.

Just bought a sprinter van, looking to do medical supply logistics. I was a general sales manager at a dealership for the last 18 years looking for a change in career. I will also travel up to 600 miles for deliveries.

A shift manager is exactly what it says: Manager of the Shift. When we choose or promote someone into shift manager, it is because we see signs of leadership and qualities we need. If you ask your location manager or general manager about training opportunities for next level promotions ( or go to HR department if need be)

I've had a winding career path but every turn has made me more capable and I've developed a wide skillset along the way. I won't apply for a job I know I couldn't do, but based on my work ethic, ability to develop new skills, my leadership ability and overall drive to work hard and work well, I'm a great fit for a lot of positions.
