I am seeking full time work in management retail... The last job I worked 9 years.. Any suggestions in Hattiesburg Missippi area...

I was the store manager for a small loan business. Corporate was falsifying NYSE info, along with a few other illegal acts. The company closed all of their loan stores in the US in September of 2015. I have never had a hard time finding work, but it seems like since I've been laid-off it's hard to get attention. I have had a potential employer invite me to an interview, but only to ask questions about the company that laid everyone off (being nosey). I was the top performer in my district. Also the highest paid SM in my district. I made my bonus every month. I don't understand why it's so hard to find work now. I was told it was due to lack of detail on my resume' so I corrected it. I have also lowed my salary expectations. TWC really isn't much help. I don't know what else to do. Any advice? Please.

I've been in The restaurant business for a long time. I really do like it well I love it but I am 46, and the restaurant business it's long hours, I've also general managed restaurants and manage casinos what could be some really good options with that kind of pay rate.

There are so many things people expect of crew that are not visible when management team is near. I find management needs to be more concerned with their employees. I learned Customer Service working for Amfac now Xtteria and housekeeping working for Aramark in the Shenanadoah National Park. I have been writing since I came out in the late ninties. Bruce Van Vort our GM at Mt. Rushmore use to say there are no little jobs everything allows a machine to run smoothly.
